Members of the Norwalk Police Department Special Services Division executed several warrants regarding Edwin Mondragon, who was arrested outside his Fort Point Street residence on Thursday, Sept. 20.
Police said that the arrest came as a result of a monthlong narcotics investigation conducted by Special Services Officers.
While executing the search warrants on Mondragon’s residence and vehicles, officers seized 44.99 grams of cocaine, $4,689 in cash and drug packaging materials.
Mondragon was arrested and charged with a series of narcotics violation and is currently being held in custody in lieu of $450,000 bond, police said.
Mondragon is scheduled to appear in court at a later date to answer the charges.
